no it doesnt. I am in the same boat...ready to pop and DONE with playing lots of games. I have a great backyard but its hot here so we try to get out before dinner ot in the AM. I have a gymboree pass for the kids so we do that a lot. But when we are home we watch tv more than I would like. Its temporary. When I had DD I remember feeling great that DS had his mommy back and more energy without the belly.
Its short lived.

Thank you for helping me feel better. I have a huge indoor play gym that I'll take him to when the local high school is out. I just can't play with him/chase him. Plus he's almost 30lbs.
I feel really guilty.
DH said he's going to take him all weekend to give me a break

No it doesnt make you a bad mom. I have a 17month old and I am on strict bed rest. Him and I spend most of our time watching tv. That and when he gets a lil out of control i have to put him in the play pen for a lil while.
I think taht the back yard is a get idea. we do have a back deck off our house and it is fenced so that DS cant fall through and i open the back door and let him also have free run out side cuz he cant get down the stairs, or through the railings. It is a great way for him to get outside time while mommy stays down.

It doesn't make you a bad mom, I think everyone uses the tv as babysitter these days (even with only 1 kid). Some other suggestions for quiet relaxing activities are- books, coloring, sticker books, playdough. If the weather is nice, I also recommend a water table out on your patio/deck. My DD Loves to play with the water and I can just sit and relax while she plays.
No you are not a bad mother!!! during my first trimester..I would get home from work and be totally exhausted!! One day a week my husband would leave for work the minute I would get home!! I would be so tired..she loved the movie tangled..and I would put her in the pack and play for a little while and let her watch the movie.. just to get some rest on the couch!
Re: Does it make me a bad mother?
We did that a lot as well. I threw up every day my entire pregnancy (both times) and by 8 months there was no way I was chasing the toddler.
Suggestion: find a good fenced in playground. It's great for now and great when you have 2 kids.
