Weekend Plans?

What does everyone have going on?

Fri: Ann works late so I will probably clean/grocery shop after work.

Sat: While Ann works I will finish whatever cleaning/errands did not get done on Fri. We are going out to this really nice restaurant on the waterfront for dinner. I cannot wait we have a babysitter and everything! Oh, and I got a new dress yesterday!!

Sun: Family day. Not really sure what we are going to do. I guess it depends on the weather. Ky's cousin is turning 2 but we have yet to receive any information on her party so we shall see.

Friday:  Quiet night at home watching the last 2 episodes of BFF...and mourning that loss.  Eating a healthy dinner and going to bed early.

Saturday:  A friend is doing some estimates for some house projects for us. Then to the Farmers' Market and Cows on the Concourse with the little one.  Then house projects, lawn mowing, and maybe grocery shopping.

Sunday:  Hopefully sleep in a bit.  Then friends are taking E so we can go on a date.  Probably we will go to a new restaurant, window shop, etc.

Yesterday L told her dissertation chair that she would have all 8 first interviews transcribed by Wednesday. As of this morning she has done 1. Oof. Needless to say, she is checking into a hotel this weekend and transcribing all weekend. Therefore the boys and I are on our own. I wish I had known sooner so I could have made plans with people.

tonight - I have no idea. Dinner and perhaps a movie for the kids.I want to watch the Chely Wright documentary.

tomorrow - the kids have their last Saturday morning swimming lesson for the summer (they are going to be taking swimming lessons during the week at camp! YAY for getting my Sat mornings back!) I might workout after their lesson. No clue the rest of the day.

Sunday - the day is wide open. I wish it was going to be sunny and warm for the pool, but alas it isn't.

J actually has a weekend off! 

Today - J closes at work, so she won't be out until 11 pm. I'm going to try to make a meatloaf for lunch before she has to go into work!  After that, I'll do some house work. A few friends are trying to get together late tonight, but I don't think I'm going to be up for that. J may go alone after work.

Saturday - We're going apartment hunting in the morning/early afternoon. Then it will be back to the house to shower and get ready for one of her coworkers baby shower. I have no idea what we will do Saturday night.

Sunday - No plans. We'll probably hang out at home and have a lazy day.

Fri: A has a half day at school today, it's the last day of the school year.  I'm not sure what we are going to do this afternoon, I need to update my blog so maybe I will do that while the kids do a movie and popcorn?  My brother and his family are going to my Dad's house today but I have a feeling we won't make it out to visit.

Sat:  Our foster/adoption agency's annual benefit at the waterpark!  The older girls are so excited for this, they really love going.  J and I haven't come up with a plan of attack yet, I know the big girls will want to go on the big slides while the babies will need to stay in the baby area but can one of us care for the babies in the water...  We have some family going so they will probably help take the big girls on some slides.

Sun:  J works and I'm sure the rest of us will be recovering from a day of sun and slides so it will be a calm day.

Both girls are coming this weekend!  Yay!  That means I better internet less and clean more!

Tonight: They will get here around 7:30, after a visit with their mom.  We'll try to get them in bed earlier than last time.  [fingers crossed for anything less than a two hour tantrum I will consider progress]

Sat:  Weather is supposed to be COLD.  Our community assn is having a big plant sale, at a park with an awesome playground.  Might do that.  Probably take them to the library to get library cards & signed up for the "Super Reader" tracking program.  I love that they get points for reading to each other/reading to Pumpkin.  (And he gets his own tracker for when he is read to.)  

Take them swimming at the Y.  

My parents are coming for dinner--my dad hasn't met Carrot yet & he is so excited!    My brother still hasn't RSVPed.  Ugh.

Sun:  Maybe a craft?  Maybe the zoo?  We'll see about the weather.

Fri:  I feel like a poo sandwich and wanna just stay in bed all day.  DW's kids graduate today so she is busy with graduation suties and a teacher party.  I may have to pick her up.

Sat:  We are proctoring the SATs (hooray for anniversary trip money) and just doing house stuff.

Sun:  Mom, lil brother, and nephew are coming over swimming and grilling.  I am looking forward to some nephew time....I miss my little man!!!

Tonight: Work late, then either go out to eat or throw together some kinda dinner....

Sat:  Our LAST foster class!  Yay!  Then grocery shopping and meal prepping.

Sun: Check out our neighborhood yard sale, finish last weekends crafts with my momma, then do laundry for the week.

Today: K is coming to get me, and we'll head over to P.ie.r 1 to buy a few things for the house. Excited!

Tomorrow: K has graduation in the a.m. I'll hang out with J - yay! At some point, I want to finish painting his room. It's turning out really nice, if I may say so myself. Perfect little boy room, IMHO.

Sunday: More house stuff in the a.m., probably... In the afternoon, our neighbors from the old place are coming over to hang out and for an early dinner.

This weekend was supposed to be a moving weekend, but now it's a moving and also going to a funeral weekend.  One of my best friends' mom died on Sunday, and the memorial service is tomorrow in Columbus.

Today: C met the movers to get our goods delivered from storage while I worked from home.  Then she picked me up and we went over to the house to figure out what we need the cleaning lady to work on getting cleaned, because the former tenants vacated sometime late last night and the place is pretty dirty.  Now we're both home working, and I leave here around 6 for an 8 hour bus ride to Columbus, Ohio.

Tomorrow: Get to Columbus at 3:15 am and check into a hostel to sleep.  Memorial service is from 11-2 tomorrow.  Get on another 8 hour bus at 5:45 and get home around midnight.  C will be taking care of the local movers moving our stuff from our temp apartment to our new place.  I'm so glad we hired them because even though it isn't a lot of stuff, our new place is up a flight of stairs and that would be a lot of physical labor.

Sunday: Clean the temporary place we are moving out of, probably some cleaning at the place we are moving into, and both of us need to work to make up some of the time we took off today.

Obviously it's a busy and crazy weekend, and C is such a champ for taking care of so much moving stuff so that I'm able to go to the memorial service.
