My MWs have a great home birth supply list, but not much in terms of a packing list for birthing in their center. (It's a freestanding BC with CPMs, I'll go home a few hours after birth, we're hoping for a water birth). Any tips or lists to share?
In addition to what PP listed, they also recommended some food/drinking supplies - some stuff for DH to have, and a few things for me during labor (e.g., energy drinks, water, some honey, etc - if you get really tired you will need a sugar boost), and maybe even something for after (we only get kept for 4-6 hours post-partum, but after such a 'workout' you can definitely be really hungry. If it's the middle of the night, though, there won't be anywhere to get food). We're also bringing 2 clothes sizes for LO - newborn and 0-3 (because we have no idea how big she'll actually be).
Oh, also anything to help with labor - for example, if you're going to use tennis balls for your back, a heating pack, rice socks, etc.
