this is old news but I just heard about it!

I just heard about the Dr. in England who ran a fertility clinic and fathered 600 children by giving, quote, "bulk donations" of sperm to his own clinic. Now that it has been found out they need to someone tell the children/parents of the children because all 600 of these kids live within a 150 mile area of eachother and they need to make sure these kids don't get married. That Dr is so sick! I feel so sorry for these kids and especially for the parents who maybe never intended to tell their children that they were conceived by an anonymous sperm donor who now have no choice but to tell their kids.

Anyone else hear about this? DH told me this was in the news a while back but I just heard about it

    That is just disgusting. Isn't infertility bad enough for the families who have to deal with it without adding all the drama of having a psycho baby daddy? UG. There is a special place in h*ll reserved for people like him.

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    I just had a mental image of all the boys in one class looking alike. 

    Scary to think one person had that much power over the reproductive lives of some many people.

    I heard about this in the news a while ago, it is so crazy!  I can't imagine anyone doing this, much less a fertility doctor.
