Pain when bending

Good Morning August!

I have a question. Does anyone get a super sharp pain when bending over? It isn't consistently every time which makes me think I'm pinching something. I am not freaked out by it at all. I just have to keep reminding myself not to bend like that. However, I was just curious if anyone else has had it?

Also, if you have, did you ask your Dr. about it? Just curious what they said exactly was being pinched?

I get pains when I bend to get something low, etc. It makes me feel like I am squishing LO though so I try to avoid moving like that...I didnt put much thought into it otherwise. Wish I could be more help!

I do. I keep forgetting I can't just bend over anymore. I feel like I'm squishing the baby and it's uncomfortable. I need to bend at the knees and stop just leaning right over.

YES! All of the time. I'm a nursing assistant, so a lot of my job consists of helping people put on their socks and shoes, picking stuff up off of the floor for people, etc...a lot of bending. Every time I bend, it's so uncomfortable that after a few times, I'm ready to cry. I asked my doctor and he said it's because the baby is measuring ahead and taking up every ounce of room he has in there. He lays across my entire stomach, and kicks when I bend over. I just try not to bend over at all, although it's nearly impossible on the days I work. I had to have SO put on my shoes the other day, LOL! Flip flops have been a lifesaver.

Not really a sharp pain but it's definitely uncomfortable.  Try to squat whenever you need to get down.  It's also a great way to prep your body for birth!
