May I ask you a question?

I usually post over on the IF board.  We got our first BFP on Tuesday with a beta of 151.  So exciting!  Today I had beta 2 and it went up to 282.  I'm concerned because it didn't double.  My RE said they want to see between 1.5x and 2x.  I know I'm only 20pts under but I'm just concerned.  They aren't redrawing blood.  Did anyone have betas like this that were successful?  Should I be as concerned as I am?

I'm usually a worry wort as it is, ugh......TIA

Congratulations on the BFP! My RE only looks for a rise of 60% in 48 hours. In fact, my nurse specifically told me to ignore the internet and the doubling in 48 hours talk. Betas are so stressful, but your numbers look good to me! Congrats again .

This! My nurse said the exact same thing said she doesn't understand why everyone thinks it's double.  You are more than 60% so you are good.

My first was 38 and the nurse wanted my second to be atleast 60, which obviously isn't double... so I think you're fine.

You look good! My 2nd beta didnt double in 48 hours. They want to see at least a 60% increase at my clinic. GL!

The number itself is irrelevant though. Yours did double, which is not what she's asking.

That's almost exactly what my betas were. And I'm pregnant with twins! Although if you are worried (which is totally understandable) ask if they will do a third beta. I needed that reassurance with mine.

My first and second Beta didn't quite double and I'm pregnant with twins.   Those numbers look great to me!

My betas went up but didn't completely double (see my siggy) and my RE would not repeat a 3rd beta, it made me nervous for the 2 weeks until we had out first ultrasound at 7 weeks but ultimately all is well and at 17 weeks, the babies and I are thriving.
