Sad for my niece :(

She and her husband have been married for 1 month younger than DH and I.  They are young but just the sweetest couple and there is just so much love between them and they are both very strong in their faith as well.  They got pregnant and she was about 3 weeks further along than me we thought but at her first ultrasound 2 weeks ago she should have been 6 weeks and they only saw the sac---no baby.  So they said she must just be earlier in her pregnancy.  She wasn't stressed or nervous about it because she just has such a great attitude about things.  Well today was her follow up and still no baby/no growth so looks like its a blighted ovum--actually in the doctor's words "It's not a baby." UGH!  They are doing another follow up in 2 weeks just to be sure and then I guess decide to wait for a natural MC or do a D&C.  My heart just breaks for her.  She is just crushed and I know this is very common but still hurts everytime.

That's awful!  I'm sorry she has to go through this.  Every loss hurts.

Prayers for further strength for your niece.  It was just over two weeks after I saw an empty sac that I started to miscarry naturally.  I hope that she is able to do so as well, without the use of drugs or D&C.  And that her Betas fall quickly and she can get back to trying as soon as possible!
