Hi everyone! I'm 6 weeks today and I am going to my first OB appointment next wednesday and I was just wondering if I should ask for an ultrasound to hear the baby's heart beat? I think they are just wanting to go through the do's and don'ts of pregnancy, but I would love the reassurance of hearing the heart beat for the first time..

I would ask. I did and I got an ultrasound at my first ultrasound. Good luck!

Thank you! And I didn't think about my insurance not covering that early...good point. It's just torture being a first timer because I think my fiance and I are just so anxious about everything.
