My 3 month old baby never spit up as a newborn, however now the past week or so he started spitting chunky white up after every feeding. Yuck!! What do your peds tell you to do? Keep them upright for a while after feedings?
I'm planning to ask this same question at our next appointment! My lo didn't start spitting up until 3 months as well. After asking quite a few friends, it sounds like this might be pretty normal???
I've been trying to keep him upright, although that doesn't seem to really matter, so I've resorted to him wearing a bib all day. I've also tried burping him after every ounce while eating. That seems to help, but he absolutely HATES it.
My kiddo wears a big pretty much all day cause he's been drooling. But no signs of teething yet (thank you Lord!). Anyway he spits up on occassion. I know some babies do it more often than others but it's really normal.
Totally normal... My pedi called it a laundry issue not a health one! But it does help them to sit up and especially to burp! Burps seem to help my DS the most. If I can't get on he is guaranteed to spit up.
Uhh...my LO is doing the same thing...he is 3 1/2 months now and it seems like he is spitting up more now than ever before. Sometimes he will spit up like an hour after he eats...thank goodness I started putting a bib on him all the time (mainly for his drool)
