Bathtime Woes...

So, LO is about 9 weeks now. At first, bathtime was pretty simple because she was in a Pavlik harness and I didnt have a choice but to give her a sponge bath while she laid on a towel. Now that she is out of it, I feel like Im having a hard time holding her still, making sure I get her clean while she is in her little bath. Our sinks are not condusive to put her in for a bath, so she is in this:

Anyone have any suggestions, or can you tell me how you bath little one while they are all wiggly? And how do I know if the water is too hot? I feel like I give her cold baths. I know they say to test on the wrist or elbow, but I cant really tell. It doesnt feel hot to me, but I keep thinking it might be too hot for her. And does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep her little lady area clean? I use the big fat q tips right now...

We use a standard infant tub with the sling in the middle. The water I use is very warm but not hot, if that makes sense. I always have one hand on LO when I bath him and I use the other for soap, the wash cloth or to put water on him to keep him warm.

If you get the water temperature right I bet your LO will start to really love the bath. I know once we stopped sponge bathing and use the tub he became much happier.

Get a thermometer. I was just like you and couldn't tell if it was too hot or what. The thermometer really took the stress out! We have this one and it's worked out really well.

That is our tub!!! We love it!! We put a wash cloth under ds and on ds. The warm cloth on it makes him just relax! We also fill the water almost to the top of th tub so it goes up to his belly button!!!
