Up and up diapers?

I've bought diapers from target for a while and I've ended up with two different kinds. One has kind of pleated stiffer tabs - I don't love these. The others are softer on the outside and the tabs are softer and stretchy almost like pampers. Which is the most recent version??

I haven't seen a different kind. Just the, what I would consider, the rougher kind. The remind me of Huggies Snug and Dry.
