Not Good-Bye, but a Graduation (BFP)

Today I would have been 39 weeks and 3 days pregnant, or maybe even holding my beautiful girl in my arms on this beautiful late spring day.

Or maybe I would  be 14 weeks and 4 days pregnant, blessing my stars that I had just had a perfect NT Scan instead of seeing a lifeless image on a screen like the previous time. I might even be daring to make my first baby purchase and telling the world that we were expecting to have a very Thankful Thanksgiving instead of a heart-wrenching one.

Instead, Today I am 3 weeks and 6 days pregnant.  I got my BFP yesterday, and had good betas come back today. I am praying and hoping that this is my rainbow baby. I am scared shiteless, but hopeful - and relatively calm - which is all I can really ask for at this point.

TTCAL, you have provided me with a safe home for the past 6 months.  You have taught me so much I can't even begin to say, and I hope in turn I have offered my support and knowledge too. I have laughed, cried, hugged and argued with you like family. And like family, you have shown me support in my darkest hours. I've left here and come back, and you welcomed me back with open arms.

So this is not a good-bye, but rather a see you around. And I pray that for all of us, that is on PgAL. And that you'll still let me chart stalk you - because honestly, you've turned me into an addict Wink

And to get you there, here's a little token for you all - meet The Fertility God of Big Sir -  I gave him a hand job on Wednesday from each of us.  Wink

But as we all know, a BFP doesn't always equal Baby.

So I gave the Mother Goddess a gentle caress, so that she can bring us all what we so deeply yearn for in our heart.

    TTC since 4/28/07
    Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
    BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
    Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.

    June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

Sept. 8, 2010, u/s showed poss. blighted ovum.... b/w 9/8/10 22,698 b/w 9/10/10 14,521.... mmc confirmed, started naturally m/c 9/15/10, d & c 9/16/10 I love you my precious monkey!! 2nd BFP March 2011.... c/p, miss you lil one!! 3rd BFP Nov. 20, 2011, subcornial hemorrhage detected 11/24/11 heartbeat found.... LO's heartbeat lost 11/25/11.... d & c 11/26/11..... I love and miss you so much baby!!!! C/P 4/26/12.... gone before I knew you.... off BCP 10-1-13.. BFP 11-20-13.. SCH for 7 weeks.. 3-4-14: It's a Girl!.. 4-22-12 emergency cerclage placed..7-7-14 cerclage removed at 36w.. delivered Lillian Marie 7-28-14..

    Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation. 

    Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
    Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
    Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
    Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP!  EDD: 6/7/14

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]
