Last night I woke up with menstral like cramping (both in my lower stomach and back) and then started getting BH contractions. I was actually able to time them (lasted about 60 seconds and came about every 6-8 minutes).
I didn't think they were supposed to be timeable since with my pregnancy with DD1 they were so random and up until last night they were also random with this pregnancy.
I feel silly for posting, but with DD1 my water broke (without contractions) and I wasn't having any contractions (atleast that I could feel). So I have no clue about what the rule is for contractions. Right now I am not having them, but I still feel very crampy and my lower back is hurting a little. I am waiting for my doc to call me back to give me instructions and what to look out for, but I thought until then I would ask you ladies.
Re: Braxton Hicks (are they supposed to be timeable?)
I've been having time-able BH since 20 weeks (every 3-4 minutes lasting a minute +). I would pay attention to if you're feeling pain with the tightening. GL!
yes, my BH are usually random..so 4 mins, 6 mins, 10 mins apart.
The only difference for me btwn the real deal and BH are that they are 5 mins apart and get increasingly painful.
