I've been there a couple times w/o DS. The downtown main drag is fun- candy stores, novelty shops, etc. The resort we stayed at was jam-packed with kids (Wilderness Resort) and there were all levels of water parks included in the nights stay. If we go back with DS I'd stay there again. I have good friends who love Jellystone.
Go to Buffalo Phil's for lunch or dinner - there is a room where all the food is delivered by a train. Our DS LOVED it. It's worth waiting for a table in the train room if its busy. The train also comes by the table and blows bubbles, or has little toys on it that your kids can take off and play with while waiting for their food.
There's also an arcade attached to that building (Knuckleheads?) which has fun stuff for younger kids.
Candy stores on the main strip are fun - there's a petting farm type place there with deer I believe (never done that but will probably do at some point).
Waterparks, obviously - we've only stayed at the Wilderness which is awesome (and we go several times per year).
My kids (almost 2 and almost 4) seem to find entertainment just in driving through the town and the strip and looking at all the roller coasters, mini golf places, go kart tracks, etc - you'll have no problem finding fun things to do.
We live about 1 1/2 hrs from the Dells and go there ALOT! So these are my suggestions...
The Wisconsin Deer Park- you can hand feed deer in there habitat(my DD loves this place.)
Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park- they have a great range of dry and wet rides for every age. And they also have an indoor waterpark and indoor rides.
The Ducks- They are boats that drive through the beautiful area, they first start on land and then will splash into the water and tour you around. I have been on the Duck at least 10 times and it never get old.
Tommy Barlett's Show- A water-ski and boat show. I have seen this many times and will continue to go.
Where are you planning on staying. I suggest that if you are planning on going to Mt. Olympus or Noah's Ark that you look at staying at a Hotel that can get you discounted pass or FREE passes.
Like the other ppl stated Broadway St. is awesome to walk around and get some yummy treats and get your picture taking at many of the Old Time Photo Places.
There are many mini-golf places and other smaller parks around.
Here are some websites that might help you and feel free to message me if you have any ?'s.
