So I just had a baby a week ago and now I am naming a third! My two boys have names that start with vowels, so I will stick with that. Adelaide is my girl name and now Ansel my boy name.. What do you think?

Same here, sounds old man-ish but I'm sure it could work for a kid too

It is pronounced the same way as Hansel without and H. I don't see how that sounds like anal at all.

I get the same feeling from it. I just don't like the sound of it and I think it would really take a certain kind of person to pull it off. (artsy and distinguished, of course). It's not terrible, but I don't dig it.
