evening primrose

Ok, I know I would find this somewhere if I looked hard enough. How much and when do you start taking it? This is my forth baby and my last pregnancy I walked around 4 1/2 cm from 36 or 37 weeks on until the dr broke my water at 39. This time my baby is low but I'm only at a 1 or 2. Any ideas on the primrose? Thanks!

I'm on 3 1000mg pills inserted vaginally at night.

I take two pills 1000mg daily orally (breakfast and dinner) and a vaginal one at bedtime.  I'm thinking of adding in a lunch time pill, too.

I take 2 orally in the mornings (started at 37 weeks) and 2 vaginally at night (started at 38 weeks).
