I finally got to see B's face at the BPP this week! She looks exactly like her sister (shocking, I know! ).

QOTW: We're having some friends over for a cookout, and hoping to get some pool time in before the rains get here for the week.

I'm feeling ok at this point in my pregnancy. I'm nesting hard core, and it wears me out. Other than that, I feel pretty good, especially considering the fact that I'm measuring around 44 weeks!

QOTW: My mom is here in anticipation of the twins' arrival, so on Saturday we just had a small cookout with DH, the girls, and my mom.  Yesterday the girls played outside in the sprinkler and the neighbor's Slip N Slide.  It was a nice, relaxing weekend.  As for how I'm feeling, I actually feel better now than a did a few weeks ago, but I'm really uncomfortable and in some degree of pain all the time.  My hips are sore, my public bone feels like it might crack at any moment, my lower back aches, my feet hurt, etc.  However, I am very thankful to have made it this far and will take the discomfort if it means the babies will be that much healthier.  48 hours until induction!

Hello ladies. I am early to the game today A couple things to report on. I am really starting to feel the babies move more often which is amazing. I can't wait till I can really feel kicks that are unmistakable. Also can't wait till my a/s on the 20th of June! I look forward to seeing my babies again! (hoping they cooperate so we can find out what we are having. FX)

QOTW: What did you/are you doing for the long weekend?   

Being in Canada our long weekend was the weekend before. We had a lot of BBQs and that's about it. OH and we started to clear out the 2 spare rooms for the babies.

 

How are you feeling at this point in your multiples pregnancy?

I was feeling good up until last week. My nausea was going away and my fatigue was letting up. I hit 16 weeks and it seems to be back again. I'm hoping it will go away again soon... I'd like to get off the diclection. Other than that and my ribs/back getting sore, it's been ok.

Nothing new to report other than some m/s returning.  Last bi-weekly appt Thursday and then weekly until delivery!

QOTW:  Not doing anything for the holiday really.  I am getting more and more uncomfortable, especially at night, but the end is in sight!  8-10 more weeks!

Hello ladies! This is my first time checking in, I'm pregnant with mono/di twins whose 40 weeks dd would be November 8th. I'm on modified bed rest and my OB will no longer allow me to work since my job required 8 hour shifts on my feet and I've gone into PTL after two separate work days. We will be looking for their sex and growth progress on June 11th.

QOTW:

We had a family reunion on Saturday and spent all of Sunday playing in the sprinkler with our toddler. Today we're cleaning and packing for vacation.

I am feeling better now after stopping work. I'm feeling less sore and haven't had contractions in a week. Yay! My hips and sciatica are bothering me more and more, but I've started some stretching and prenatal yoga in hopes that it will help as we continue to grow.

QOTW: What did you/are you doing for the long weekend? How are you feeling at this point in your multiples pregnancy?

Spent Saturday showing some out of town friends the place where DH and I ar ehaving our new house built, then spent the rest of the day at the pool.  Had a bunch of friends over yesterday for a cookout, and even though all I did was sit around, I did NOT have my feet up, s I amanged to get killer cankles.  At this point, I have hit a wall.  I was doing REALLY well, but as of today, I am miserable.  As of Thursday, I was measuring 43 weeks.  At 5 feet tall, and up 45 lbs, I am at my limit.  Eviction Day is 4 weeks from tomorrow.  I think DH and I will be mocing into our basement bedroom (which is also my home office) because I can't manage to climb into the tall bed in our master bedroom anymore.  *sigh* sorry to be such a downer today!!!

On the UP side, the baies are doing GREAT.  At last U/S 10 days ago, both were over 4 lbs and the MFM told me I should be her poster child.    I don't think she'll say that THIS week, with all my complaining!

QOTW:  We had a bunch of errands we wanted to get done and were supposed to BBQ today at MIL but I had another bleeding episode yesterday so I am laying low.

Update:  I had been doing good with no bleeding for almost a week and then I had another gush of red blood yesterday morning and have been spotting since.  I already have a doc appointment tomorrow so I am just trying to stay calm and lay low.  M/S is in full effect and I am hoping my doc can give something tomorrow.  Last time zofran didn't really help and I ended up on phenegran which was a life saver.

QOTW: What did you/are you doing for the long weekend?  We are moving this coming week and have the packers coming on Tuesday so we are spending the weekend getting ready for them. But I am making sure that I take lots of breaks and drink lots of water. A little sad that after tonight I'm going to have to sleep in hotel bed for at least two weeks maybe longer depending on when our stuff will get delivered.

 

How are you feeling at this point in your multiples pregnancy? I'm feeling pretty good, I can really feel them moving a lot more which is amazing cause now I can feel that they are doing ok. Also at the ultrasound on Thursday both girls are measuring ahead (last time they were both behind) and also my cervix is even longer. So fingers crossed that I won't get PTL in the next two crazy weeks.

We are still trucking along pretty well here.  I was diagnosed with GD a week or so ago, but have been checking my sugar levels and they seem to be in line with where they should be without having to take meds.  Nonetheless, I have an appt with the diabetes center on Wednesday and will be discussing everything further with MFM at the next appt.

We are starting to get ready to do some work in the nursery.  I can't wait for it all to come together!

 QOTW: What did you/are you doing for the long weekend? How are you feeling at this point in your multiples pregnancy?  We are grilling this evening for my family... still not sure how we were roped into that one.  I'm feeling OK - super tired most of the time, but that's about it.  Can't wait to see those babies though!

A couple of BBQs at friends' houses, trying to clean up around our house, and trying to catch up on some stuff at work.

 

How are you feeling at this point in your multiples pregnancy?

Exhausted and useless, thus the need to spend the weekend catching up on work stuff. Nausea is kicking my ass. It's not keeping me from eating anything, I just feel miserable all the time. I'm hoping my energy comes back soon. We finally have beautiful weather here and I need to get outside and do something active!

I live in a small town just outside of Los Angeles.  (I can see the city from here).  But the beauty of it being a small town is this weekend is a fun festival where we got to show our 18 month old fireworks (She LOVED them).  And an awesome parade  (She LOVED it too).  I'm feeling so lucky to have such a great life today.

 As for this pregnancy...man, I am tired all the time.  I know it's only going to get worse and worse.  I'm sure in about 10 weeks I'll be laughing at 17week me for complaining.   I also have a chest cold and am coughing a lot.  The problem...if there is even the tiniest amount of pee in my bladder I squirt when I cough.  It's awesome.  

But when I think that next year and next memorial day parade I'll have Bea AND the boys there....every time I pee in my pants or have to sit down to not pass out it will be very very worth it.

Nothing new to report here.  I'll be 8 months pregnant as of this coming Wednesday, which is pretty exciting.  I have my 32w checkup tomorrow and my OB said he'll schedule an u/s to make sure both boys are still growing at the same rate.  

I developed a nasty case of PUPPS a couple weeks ago and it's got me feeling pretty miserable.  The itching wakes me up more often than my tiny bladder.

Nothing going on for Memorial Day.  ILs were here for a few days and left bright and early this morning, so I'm recovering.

I would love to be added to the check-in I'm new here, since I only found out I was having twins on Thursday at my 20 week scan. My husband and I are due to have twin boys on October 12, but it's looking more like they'll be here mid-to-late September, as long as everything progresses the way we hope.

The last 2-3 weeks my bump has really grown. As of Thursday I'd only gained 5 lbs (though I started out pre-pregnancy a smidge on the overweight side), but I'm making an effort to get extra calories in now that I know there are two little ones to feed. I'll know more about next steps on Thursday when I meet with my midwife. Aside from that, my fainting spells seem to be getting a bit better since I started an iron supplement two weeks ago. What's getting worse, however, is how uncomfortable I am after eating. Now I know why it felt like my organs were already getting crowded out halfway through! I haven't been feeling great overall, but that's not bothering me now that I know I have two babes to take care of for the next 17ish weeks and my sole focus is to get them here as healthy as possible.

QOTW: We didn't do a thing this weekend! Lots of little home improvement things, as we have a fixer-upper with lots of yard. We've just spent the weekend talking, planning and playing with the girls, which is enough work in itself! 

Feeling good, not very nauseous now but very, very tired. I don't have another appointment until the 14th, so I'm anxious to get these next two weeks out of the way!

This weekend we just started packing because we are moving this month and we had a cookout at my parent's house.

 I am feeling great. These babies have been extra nice to their momma. I've only thrown up twice. I have been getting heartburn more often though...

Hi ladies!  I have lurked a lot on this board and posted infrequently.  I would like to join in on the MoM's check-in and become a more regular poster.

I am 27weeks along today (EDD 27/08) and am pregnant from our 3rd IVF cycle.  We are very eager to meet our boy girl twins this summer.

What did you/are you doing for the long weekend? How are you feeling at this point in your multiples pregnancy?

I live in Canada so we had our long weekend last weekend.  DH and I didn't do much - we are preparing our house for sale so I puttered and watched him finish up the bathroom renos.

I am feeling OK.  I am very reluctant to complain as I feel very fortunate to be carrying our babies, but I will admit that these last few days have me feeling quite pregnant and a tad uncomfortable.

My EDD is 1/3/2013 and all we know right now is they're identical twins. No gender yet. I'm only 8 weeks 5 days.

QOTW: I'm feeling pretty great so far. Thankfully I haven't had much morning sickness hardly *knock on wood*. Overall just exhausted, a lot. And anxious for my next appt.

We didn't do much over the weekend, we went to a seafood festival in a town about 30 minutes south of here. That was fun. Other than that it rained all weekend long - we were hit with a Tropical Storm. We did go explore babies r us and left a little disappointed - but that's about it. Nice quiet weekend for us

My official due date with my twins is 1/13/13 but my Dr said we will serve them with an eviction notice around Dec 23!!!

 Yay for 2012 babies! 

For this long weekend we pulled a trading spaces on one of our rooms. We moved our 6 yr old to a smaller room to make rooms for the twins and we completely redid his room in a surfer theme. He loved it and it took us about 2 days to complete. Hubby was so great, he did all the painting while I did some trim work and we hung up everything. I had a minor accident though, my hubby was a moving a bookcase with all the books still on it and I was standing behind it, well the thing came apart completely crashing to the floor, not before it completely got my right leg. Now I have 2 huge bruises and scrapes on my leg that hurt like crap..hubby felt SOOOOO bad! But it could have been worse.

 We spent most of the weekend clearing out our spare bedroom for the girls. We put together all the furniture. We had a BBQ by the pool yesterday.

I am always tired. Sleeping has started to get pretty uncomfortable. I wake up with sore hips and backaches.

I just realized that i did too much this weekend. I simply can't do everything or I won't be able to do anything. We had too much going on this weekend and by Sunday I found myself swaying on the side of the bed and crying in so much discomfort. Won myself a trip to L&D but was checked out and "just fine" to be sent home.

 

I'm only 23 weeks and really struggling yesterday/today. The realization I need to bake these babies for another 15 weeks is daunting, scary, not exciting for me. I feel like crap and want to curl up in a permanent bathtub with an on call masseuse for my low back pain. Don't even get me started about the hemroids and other unsightly problems, ugh. I'm not even sorry for feeling pathetic, I just feel like crap. double ugh.

I am short of breath, have abd pain, you name it I'm feelin it. At last check my cervix was down even further to 1.0 and I had my first positive FFN. So I'm increasingly scared these babies will be making their appearance sooner then later. I'm inch worming my way to my next milestone of 28 weeks. Then I'll be hoping for 32 weeks. Thank God for DH who has been taking such good care of me! I cooked spaghetti tonight (my first dinner I've cooked in 3 weeks) and I thought I was going to die! Back to the couch for me. Oh and anyone else having the worst time sleeping? Benadryl has become my best friend!

What did you/are you doing for the long weekend?  Gardened and BBQ'd (and napped!)

How are you feeling at this point in your multiples pregnancy?  Tired and big!  I am also nervous about the possibility of bedrest, twins' possible health issues, and how my DD will deal with the new additions.
