Yesterday was my baby shower and it was so wonderful!!  My DH and I are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.  We received so many of the things that were on a registry and the things that are left are all "small" things.  

Having a living room full of baby stuff is making me VERY excited!!!

We are going with green paint with yellow and pink accents.  We did not buy a specific nursery set.

Sounds like it'll be a gorgeous nursery. We went with green too, we wanted gender neutral. But like you we went with gender specific accents, we did purple. Pink&Yellow will look gorgeous with the green! Glad your shower was nice.

AW!! I'm glad you had a good time.  I am having my first of two showers on Saturday.  I bought myself a new dress on Memorial day.  I am really excited.  This one was a complete surprise, it is very small and intimate.  Your nursery will be adorable.  I have to admit I am so jealous of you for having a little girl.  I decided to go with a jungle theme for my son's room.  We found some really nice bedding at a yard sale.  Carter's safari jungle theme.  I also got a stuffed monkey as a gift.  I know what you mean about the more baby stuff you get, the more excited you become.  I am the same way!!  I'm due August 26, 2012.  This is my first entry in the forums.  So, it is nice to meet you guys!
