Well I am an RN, and I think tonight is my last shift. I will be 27 weeks on Tuesday and my body is telling me to STOP. Last shift I worked I was 25 and a half weeks and that was when it started. I work 12 hour shifts and my back feels like it is broken, I get out of breath and I start getting a really tight tummy. It just is not worth it to risk it. I came in to work at 7 tonight and by 8, my body was screaming. It feels so early to stop working but my doctor said between 24-28 I would probably have to stop. I was doing fine and then just hit a wall. I am so thankful for making it this far and will talk to my doctor on tuesday.

Re: Thinking my working days are done...
I stopped at 29 (almost 3 weeks ago) and I'm SO glad I did. I hadn't realized how exhausted I truly was because I was fighting through it and I feel so much more relaxed now that I nap when I feel like it, I take a break to eat when I feel like it, and when indigestion, heartburn, and PUPPS keep me up at night, it doesn't ruin my entire day. You won't regret going out of work, I'm sure of it!
This is my siggy. Love it.
