Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss

Reaching Out...

Hello and hope this finds you well. Thank you for reading my post. I am new to this wonderful website and am looking forward to making new friends. I am a proud 43 yr. old mother of an amazing Lil' boy, Michael, a Blessing from Above. We are in the midst of trying to conceive another Miracle. Sadly, I, we, suffered a miscarriage in Nov. I feel so lost these days and feeling discouraged since I am not becoming pregnant. I realize it will be more difficult, but I would love to give our son a sibling. I am an only child and longed for that special bond. I know I am not the only mother enduring this pain...I am so sorry for your loss, BTW. I know that becoming a mother again may not happen because of my age and it saddens me to know this may be it. I can't believe I am finally at this stage in my life. Time did fly by but my heart and soul don't feel like it. Would love and value your support, words of encouragement, etc. Thank you so much for your time and I wish you all the best. Blessings and enjoy the rest of your Holiday Weekend...Smile

I am so sorry for your loss. I know where you are at - I am 41 and very much want DS to have a sibling to grow up with. If you and your DH are at the point of TTC again, you might post an introduction over on the TTCAL board. There is a great group of ladies there who have experienced loss and are trying again. Here is the link to the TTCAL (Trying To Conceive After a Loss) blog https://www.ttcalblog.blogspot.com/. There is some great info in it. Best of luck to you, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend as well.

I'm there too, advanced age and had a miscarriage earlier this month, my first pregnancy. We are trying again, but of course there are no guarantees!

If you haven't already, talk with your doctor and consider seeing a fertility specialist too. There are lots of issues with us more seasoned ladies that they understand and can address.

I'm sorry for your loss and wish you best of luck on your TTC journey. Definitely post an intro on TTCAL, I've found some good support and advice there over the last few weeks.

I'm so sorry for your loss, its just so hard. My husband and I feel like time just flew in our lives also, and now being 37 (trying 2 years, 1 month) with 2 miscarriages under my belt (since january), we are also not sure if the future holds a baby in it.   We are just trying to explore every avenue possible, we have some wonderful doctors that have been helping us in our journey.  Good luck in your journey and I wish you all the baby dust in the world.
