I am so ready for this baby to be out but not till she hits the 37weeks which will be on friday so i'm kinda hopeing that my doc appoitment on thursday he will say i'm somewhat dialited and effaced that way at least i will feel like things are moving along. Anyone else feel this way?

While I'm so excited to meet my baby, I feel not quite ready, I still have things to finish up at home and need another week at work at least, so I'm hoping he stays in till his due date even though I'm getting really uncomfortable and he is definitely out of room in there

Agreed - I feel so behind in preparation for this little guy! I'll take all the time I can get.

I was ready like yesterday for this baby to come.  Ideally anytime after this Thursday would be great since that is when DH is done with work for a month!

I felt the same way at my 37 week appointment! When the doctor told me that I was 3cms dilated I almost kissed her with excitement! I was hoping that I would go into labor quickly after that, but here I am over a week later! I have made some progress though. I'm now about 3.5-4 cms dilated and 80% effaced. I guess I can't complain, but man, am I ready to meet this little girl!
