There is a nasty cold going around in our area and it just hangs on. I swear it lasts twice as long as a normal cold. I know people who have been to walk-in clinics or their doctor and they are saying that they are seeing a ton of people just get knocked on their butts with it and it lasts for weeks. I got it last week and it hasn't been horrible, but I have definitely been worn down, cough, sore throat, congestion, and sneezing. Luckily, Ben doesn't seem to have really gotten it, but he definitely has some congestion going on.

Dd is very sick with what started as a cold. Now she has a double ear infection and horrific cough. To top it all off the antibiotic has upset her stomach. Fun times here!!

I considered it might be allergies. It started 2 weeks ago just as a tiny cough and a stuffy nose in the morning. But this morning he woke up with snot pouring out of his nose, his eyes were running, and he's coughing like crazy. Poor little guy. Took him to the doc- nothing they can or will do (fine with me - as I don't take meds unless it's an antibiotic) so we're just riding out the storm!
I had the stuffy nose, cough, sinus headache, sore throat with drainage about 2 weeks ago and I'm still feeling the lingering effects. Eli caught part of it with the cough and stuffy nose, but thankfully it didn't get out of control. Hang in there mama!
