My IUI .... in pics!

So I couldn't log on to tell you all how yesterday went..apparently The Bump was being "attacked"!!  Any way...here's my story for those who were waiting for it.

We started off the day with a cup.  After seeing what Laurakat's DH did to his we were inspired!  Winkimage 

It was the only sticker I had with a Rainbow.. You should have seen Mikey's face when he saw it!!

I couldn't go for IUI #2 without a little luck of my own.image

I put a little (temp) tattoo of a ladybug for good luck on my lower belly...and YES.. I made Mikey kiss the ladybug for extra luck after the IUI. Oh ..and those panties you see there..they say HOPE. Wink

On the way there we drove behind this car..image 

It calmed my nerves....a little.

A different doctor performed my IUI this time because mine was on a filed trip.  I have to say she wasn't as gentle.  It hurt this time around.  I'm pretty sure the speculum cut me as well.. ugh.  The day couldn't end without something bad happening 'cause that just wouldn't be Vanessa style.  So I decided to let my arm get slammed in the truck door when we got home. As if I didn't already have enough bruising and swelling from my double arm B/W fail the day before!

Anyway.. I am feeling good..except for my arm.. ouch!  Could've been worse..Could have broken it!

I start progesterone gel this morning for the 1st time. I'm guessing it's going to be messy.Confused

Good luck Laurakat!!!  Keeping FX and praying for both of us...my next appt. is June 8th.. Is that yours as well?

    I love the sticker, the ladybug, the undies and the Got Hope! I very much dislike the harsh doctor and the door slamming Sad Hoping and praying this is the one for you!
    3 ectopic pregnancies (EDD's 1/30/12-tube removed, 6/2/12-methotrexate and 10/2/12-methotrexate)
    IVF and Natural FET resulted in BFN's and a hole in our wallets
    Natural BFP #4 on 9/7/12 gave us our miracle on 5/18/13

    I really enjoy the pics!  I will be hoping and praying that that car was a sign...and that the door vs arm incident is the last remains of that heavy cloud that's been hanging over you.

    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    BFP #1:  8/10/11 EDD: 4/9/12 Natural miscarriage @ 7 weeks: 8/20/11
    BFP #2: 8/31/12 EDD: 5/18/13 Chemical pregnancy: 9/4/12
    BFP #3:  5/17/13  EDD: 1/24/14 Loss at 5 weeks: 5/29/13

    Lots of testing, all clear with the exception of compound heterozygous for the MTHFR mutation. 

    Cycle 1: Femara, trigger shot, Bravelle added due to slow response = BFN
    Cycle 2: Cancelled due to two cysts =(
    Cycle 3: Femara, Bravelle, trigger shot and IUI = BFP then loss #3
    Cycle 4: Femara, Follistim, trigger shot and IUI = BFP!  EDD: 6/7/14

    Love it all!!! I'm sorry about your arm and the not so gentle doc but I'm glad all in all it went well!

    I go in on 6/1 for a progesterone check and 6/8 for betas!!! Good luck!!!

    BFP #1: 12/2009 m/c 1/2010 BFP #2: 6/2010 m/c 8/2010

    BFP #3: 10/2011 ectopic 11/2011 (right tube removed, learned left tube was probably nonfunctional due to scar tissue from infection after m/c)

    3 failed IUIs, IVF #1: 18R, 12M, 10F, 3 poor quality 5d embryos transferred= BFP #4!!!!!

    Betas: 9dp5dt: 64 ~14dp5dt: 91 (expecting miscarriage, doubling time of 236 hours) ~16dp5dt: 200~18dp5dt: 500

    First Ultrasound at 6w2d revealed two sacs, only one with a heartbeat

    LK arrived after 42 weeks on August 14, 2013! Beautiful, healthy, and happy!

    TTC#2: IVF booked for April 2015

    Surprise BFP#5 February 19, 2015 EDD: November 2, 2015

    Betas: 10dpo: 10, 14dpo: 77, 17dpo: 270

    First Ultrasound at 5w1d showed a miracle UTE baby! And right ovary ovulation to left fallopian tube.

    JD arrived at 38 weeks on October 20, 2015.

    TTC #3: Since October 2017. BFP #6 July 2, 2018 EDD: March 16, 2019 [/spoiler]

    Fingers and toes crossed for you! Sucks the dr wasn't so gentle, and that you shut your arm in the door, but the rest of the days sounds like it went great!
