Early cycle chart stalk please...

So I am beginning to wonder if my BBT is faulty ?? My temps are all over the place.  This is my first cycle truly charting so maybe this is normal and I just don't know?  Any help would be appreciated.  Oh, and I temp at the same time every morning.

    My chart looks the same, but no, they're not supposed to be all over the place.  I haven't tried experimenting yet, but I did go out and buy another thermometer, and I'm also going to try temping vaginally next cycle, whenever that decides to start.

    hmmm...my temps change if I go to bed later than usual, have wine before bed, etc.  If it doesn't happen much you can just "rule of thumb it" but yours make it harder!  Have your bedtimes been kind of sporadic lately?  Just an idea...also, a good friend of mine was never able to chart bbt.  Her temps were all over too and she never found a cause.  She just used Billings though and it worked for her.

    I'm a charting newbie, too. This is only my second month, but my temps have been wonky, too. I've wondered if it means my cycle just isn't quite balanced yet. I'm not planning to go back to my doctor until October, so I'll probably just keep charting and hope she'll have an explanation?

    I wish I had a better answer for you! Just wanted to say you're not the only one in the wonky temps boat.

    This was my experience with charting and why I quit. The suggestion to do vag temps is a good one though, I might restart and try that.

    Thanks, ladies! Bedtimes have been pretty consistent so I don really know what to think.  Just hoping to see some consistency around O time and in my LP...

    I have had cycles with wacky temps at the beginning. When AF leaves, and pre-O time begins, things have settled down and I could still see a temp shift. Stick it out, if you can.

    Your estrogen is still out of whack. My chart from last month has similar dips.
    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    My guess would be it's your thermometer.  I see you already 3-4 of the exact same temps (are they the same, to the tenth)?  FWIW. I always had rocky, weird temps before O, but was still always able to detect O.  I've heard of issues with BBTs from CVS and Target... I have used the Mabis one from Wal-Mart for a year a half now, with no issues.  Good luck Smile
