I read somewhere that after bleeding/spotting post d&c/mc, you can't really count the start of your next AF unless you had 20 days of NOT bleeding in between... meaning I guess, if you keep spotting throughout the month, it's not really AF...
anyone that thinks they know what I'm talking about (lol) does brown discharge count? not really spotting, but really light light brown, constant light discharge for 2 days now... UGH

I bled for about four days following my d&c then spotted for about a week. Then nothing for two weeks. Today I think AF has arrived. I think this was pretty similar to what happened last time, too and the doctor considered the bleeding after the break my first AF.
I'm not sure about the 20 days, but I think if there was a recognizable break between spotting from the d&c (like you could wear your white undies with no fear for a couple of weeks) and the next round of bleeding, it's considered AF. But check with your doctor to confirm.
