Clothes shopping with DH

We found out a few weeks ao we were having a boy. I didn't really want to buy too many clothes because I know that so many people are going to be doing the same thing for us. Since finding out DH loves to go look at little boys clothing. He bought 8 outfits just last night. It is so sweet that he is so excited. I was getting onto him at first, but now I just let him go nuts, lol. We can just donate the clothes one day. Anyone else out there going to have a baby that may not wear the same thing twice??

    me! I have a huge extended family and this is my parents first grandchild... I haven't bought ANY clothes yet. no point, lol.

    Mine will not go shopping with me. But that's okay!

    Typically he is the Manager of Purse Strings (fine by me, as I am stupid with finances) and I am the Buyer of Stuff (also fine by me, since I am the one with TASTE... lol). 

    Basically, he tells me how much we can afford to spend right now, and then I can go out and spend it.  He gets to avoid the "chore" of shopping and stay home with his video games. I get to enjoy as much guilt-free time as I want to spend, browsing and pouring over purchase decisions. Plus I can avoid that pained look that crosses his face every time a debit card is swiped.   

     In the end, we both like this arrangement very much.  :D
