I need exercise! And if I'm going to accomplish this, I'm going to have to take the LO with me. Therefore, I'm looking into the possibility of investing in a good jogging stroller so we can start pounding the pavement together. The problem is that the sidewalks in our neighborhood are really crappy. There are tons of big lumps and bumps and cracks and holes. I'm just wondering...would a good jogging stroller be able to handle the beating or would I still have to go to the park to keep from shaking/bouncing E too much?
Re: Jogging stroller question
Honestly unless you expect her nap she will probably get a kick out of the bouncing and shaking. (as long as you can jog with out tripping on all the bumps)
I used to Rollerblade with Audrey in a jogging stroller. For her the faster the bumpier the better. She loved it.
I have a bike trailer for Violet and she is getting kick out of it and we can get going pretty fast.
This. DD loves the rough and tumble when we go through the woodsy area near our house. In fact, it lulls her to sleep. I use a Baby Trend Expedition as well. BOB is the best but was too pricey for me when I only really needed the jogging stroller for walks around the woodsy areas.

We have the Baby Trend stroller too and we love it! You can take that stroller over any terrain...gravel roads, 6 inches of snow, soaked lawns...it can handle it all!
We have the Joovey too and after doing some research thought it was a better stroller than the Bob. The fact that it was cheaper too was the added bonus for us.
I have the Bob and love it! It defintely absorbs the shocks on the bumpy sidewalks, and it is just so easy to run with! I am doing a 5K next weekend with it.
I came across your post and wanted to let you know what we had. Our jogging stroller was the Jeep Overland which worked very well.
Most strollers of this type will have some bulk so it would be tough to get around that but we were happy.
I ended up researching quite a few strollers over time so I created a website to give some of the info out to anyone who is interested.

Hope you find something that works for you..;)

Is this Mr.DoctorWorm? If not I'm a bit creeped out by the winky faces...
In choosing a jogging stroller, you might want to consider suspension (to absorb shocking/bumpy movement), safety straps, propped and sufficiently padded seat for your LO safety and comfort. Fyi, a baby should at least have a stable neck control before s/he is put in a jogging stroller for a ride. Personally, though a jogging stroller comes in complete features to protect your LO, I really think there's nothing wrong to pick a smother and even path/track (if possible).
Either that or spam...
