That's one of DH's biggest hesitations with using cloth on DD. (And mine.) For the life of me, I don't remember spraying DS's diapers. Apparently I've blocked it out. I CD'd DS until he was 1 without any incident, and then stopped just because his daycare wouldn't take cloth, and it didn't make sense to do either tiny loads of diaper laundry every couple of days, and letting them sit to do a full load did not do well for the stinkies.
Is there any way to avoid spraying post solids?
Re: Are there alternatives to spraying?
Usually one sometimes two
This is hilarious!
Uh YES they can poop more than once a day. My DD goes between 2-5 times a day (she's 18 months) and has since she started solids.
I would never ever CD without having a sprayer since, for me, it's the easiest way to get ALL the poop off, especially if it's stuck in the gathering.
You haven't met my kid. Some days it's once a day. Others it's four. And it's never, ever ploppable.
I would go insane without my sprayer. I scraped for a while, but the sprayer made life a lot better.
If you have a kid with ploppable poop, you can get away without using a sprayer.
