If you have any inkling of being down today and you have last night's Modern Family in your DVR, DON'T WATCH IT!!!  Save it for a day when you want to cry or you're feeling strong enough to handle baby things.  You'll identify with one part and cry along and think you're ok, then BAM baseball bat to the face.

Seriously?  That's one of those shows I can usually count on to distract me from a bad mood, unlike Sister Wives which I stupidly watched a few weeks back.

ETA: I looked up what happened and I guess I have mixed feelings.

I really liked the episode!! Maybe I'm weird, but it somehow gives me hope (at least the part with Gloria does!).

It could have just been me, I was having a bad day anyway.  And I totally didn't see the last part coming, so that didn't help matters.  

But since it's never one of those shows that you have to brace yourself to watch, I thought it called for a warning *sigh*

Psst... Can somebody please PM me a quick synopsis--at least the baby parts? It's okay if you "spoil" it for me. I want to know if it's something I can handle. DH and I love DVRing this show and watching it together on the weekends. I could use a huge heads up, even if it means I'm not surprised later.

 I just read this synopsis. I actually don't follow Modern Family (I watch everything else though). This episode probably would have broken my heart, depending on how it was written.

I totally didn't see the "ending" ending coming either.

When Mitch and Cam were crying out in the field, I totally was crying along with them. But then the "ending" ending? Yeah, I was pretty mad. I felt like I'd been sucker punched.

I just listed this in my 10 things thursday!  The part you are talking about where you could relate - absolutely.  I wanted to lay right down in that field too.    And then YIKES, who the heck saw the last part coming?!?

I know right!  I told DH that I wished I could give them a hug.  Then with the last part, my first thought was "Oh, poor Cam and Mitch when they have to hear this."  if that tells you where I'm at with the bitterness factor lol.
