*Warning, other people's stupidity, pregnancies and joy mentioned as well as some mild pessimism*
I am optimistic, because today just can't be anything like yesterday.
DH and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary yesterday. That was the only good thing.
Everything else yesterday was 'less then ideal' [insert sarcastic tone]
1) Client "do you have any kids?"
Me "no"
Client "Pets?"
Me "Yes"
Client's son "Why did you ask her about pets?"
Client "because if they don't have one, they have the other."
Me *Speechless*
2) had to go to a double baby shower for 2 cowokers. One due 2 months before my first EDD, the second one month after. Not bad enough that I have to watch their bellies grow every day, but I was volun-told into running the Pool on when mama #1 gives birth. Can someone shoot me?
3) Mom and dad invite DH and I for Sushi dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. Mom e-mails me "How about Sushi? Can you eat it now?"
4) Post D&C pathology report returned. No findings..
Today HAS to be better!

Ouch, that is a bad day. Sorry about your client's stupid comment, what a beeyoch. She can just STFU now. I sometimes wonder if people really pay attention to the things that come out of their mouths.
And I'm sorry the pathology report didn't give any answers- I can't remember, are you also getting genetic testing results?
But, happy anniversary. Hoping today is better for you.

Ironically, I have a double baby shower at work today (that I am beyond dreading). I just hope the "who's next" game doesn't come up, because that might make me start crying, and who knows if I'll make it out of the room before that happens!
Diagnosed w/ endometriosis 12/2010 Laproscopic surgery & 6 months of Lupron
BFP 12/17/2011,EDD 8/23/12,ectopic discovered 12/29/11 at 6 weeks recieved methotrexate
Dec '12 HSG & ultrasound showed abnormalities & more endo. Laproscopic surgery in January '13 showed significant damage & scar tissue from Endo. IVF is our best shot to concieve our rainbow.
June '13 Decided to go the adoption route!

I am not, I have to miscarry 3 times before I am eligible to do those through health insurance. My Dr. is also saying I am miscarrying too early for him to think about a genetic problem. He says based on all my information it is more likely to be a mechanical / hormonal issue.
I just wish I knew 100% what is causing it for me.

Ugh, that is so frustrating. Sometimes I really want to say to the health care professionals, "would YOU like to go through this multiple times before anyone will even start looking into things for you"?

BFP#2 2/27/13. Empty sac confirmed 3/20/13. Mifepristone + cytotec.
Currently TTA until Fall 2013, waiting for operative hysteroscopy

Good for you! And the health policy wonk side of me (yes, that's what I do for a living) is also frustrated because paying for all of the stuff that goes along with multiple losses is probably just as or more expensive than running the tests and figuring out how to prevent them (if possible).
