My naturopath wants me to eat better and more organic and such so I've been looking at different blogs and trying to organize myself and plan menus and such. I came across
this blog on Pinterest and I'm in love. I'm feeling inspired and trying to get more ideas. Does anyone on here follow this clean eating diet? And if so, do both you and your DH follow it? Mine isn't too on board right now and is recoiling at the thought of brown rice and whole wheat pasta. I'm hoping he'll warm up to it. I want to be healthier!

Re: Clean Eating, anyone else?
My friend's wife wrote a book on clean eating - her website below. I've heard good things about the book.
I did the vegan raw diet thing for a while, it was a lot of work but I felt really good!

I have been clean eating for almost a month now...I am praticipating in a "At Home Challenge" thru my gym...I have had NO SODA of any kind since April 29th when the challenge started...
I eat all whole wheat...breads, pasta, rice and even whole wheat waffles...I sub- Ground Turkey for most of my ground beef meals. when I do snacks it is rice cakes, all natural peanut butter, lots of fruits, and Dr. Kracker's (organic flat bread)
I do alot of salad and grill or bake any other meat I eat...and drink LOTS OF WATER
So far I have lost 7 pounds and I feel really good since changing my diet...My last and final weigh in for the challenge is sunday
Good for you on the weight loss! It sounds like quite the challenge but you seem to have embraced it and are doing well. Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration.

We should be clean eating buddies! I'm still learning the ropes and trying to find recipes and resources and such so I probably won't be really starting until June. We can keep each other accountable.

Thanks...it has really been a challenge for me (especially no soda) but I am proud of how I am doing.....My motivation to stay healthy while TTC has helped alot...Good Luck to you...
** my hubby was not on board and still isn't...He keeps reminding me I am the only person in our house on a diet and refuses to eat my ground turkey...lol...He tried it once and that was it.**
I try to eat pretty "clean". When I finally finished grad school I decided to start buying organic whenever it was available. I like shopping at Whole Foods because they don't stock anything with artificial color, flavor, or preservatives, so it saves me time label reading.
I find that once I've bought junk food I'm not very good at controlling my portions, so I just avoid buying it altogether. My DH appreciates my commitment to eating healthy and he's not picky, so it works out. I doubt he'd go to the same lengths if I weren't around, but he doesn't mind it.
Cooking more from scratch can be a good step towards clean eating since it forces you to think about what goes into your food.
Whole wheat pasta is pretty tasty these days, and I kind of like the gluten free quinoa variety too! Maybe he will come around if you cook it up into something tasty. With homemade pesto maybe?
