Just wondering if there are any newly pregnant ladies in Memphis that want to form a exercise group and/or non-drinking fun group and/or prepare to make playdates for the outside babies?

Hey I'm in Cordova...What part of Memphis are you in?  I'm due 2/4/13 so I just found out Congrats to you.  I have one 2 1/2 year old son so he would probably have to be included in our activities, but I'd love to get out and exercise.

I am right outside of memphis in Olive Branch and I would love for us to get a group together of moms expecting or not but have LO's one way or another and we can have play dates.By the way I am not expecting but I have a 10 month old.

Have you ever heard of Shelby Farms park? Not sure how far it is from Olive Branch because I just moved to Memphis. It would be a good place to get together, and they have a really big playground.  It is just so hot right now!

I live in Germantown and am due with my first baby in January.  I would be interested in an exercise partner!  I am still working though so evenings and weekends would be best.

The heat is starting to get unbearable so if we did anything this summer if would have to be inside! We should also think about planning some playdates for when our little ones are here.

Maybe mall walking?  I know that sounds silly but I cant think of anywhere cool where we could all go burn some calories....

Maybe we could look at some baby stuff while there?

Hope you are feeling well! I am anxious to get out of the 1st trimester in hopes that my exhaustion and nausea will improve. 

I am up for some mall walking! I agree, there are not many options for us with this horrible heat.  I might have to stop off in the play area, though, with my 2 year old

I'm in Cordova.  We just found out last week, and have our first appointment on the 17th and I'm super nervous and scared...especially since we had a m/c in October

Gotta love this Memphis heat because we all know how whiny we will be in the winter!! I was due July 4th, but my little one must have mommy's patience!! I am a young mom, only 21. I have been trying to hang out with my friends, but I just seem myself wanting to go back home ten minutes after being there. They don't understand the things they do just don't interest me anymore. I would be interested in a mommy group!! If you don't mind talkative people:)

But so far we have not done a good job of meeting up.

Can I ask what OB you're using? We are newly pregnant and I work, too, so it's been such a pain finding somewhere with evening or weekend options! We had an appointment with one yesterday, but I didn't like him very much and I think he might have been our only option!
