This is a group designed for all the ladies in the various stages of waiting after a loss: waiting to miscarry, waiting for AF to arrive, waiting to TTC again, and waiting for a BFP.   Since this process is such a true test in patience, it is nice to have the support and friendship of other women going through similar experiences and emotions.

Update: Well the RE called today - my home phone instead of my cell. My h was home for lunch and got the call.

Anyhoo, yes left pelvic kidney; nothing else on the left side. Nada. Zip. I am a right UU (unicornuate uterus) with one right tube, ovary, etc.  Who knew this crap happened? 

I'm really happy that there is no rudimentary (read: random floating body part attached to nothing) horn for me to worry about. That takes a lot off of our plate in this whole thing.  

I will not be taking another month of BCPs and will just have plain ol' vanilla with H - not TTC/ not TTA. We'll be thinking about/discussing our next steps IVF, IUI (RE doesn't want) and adoption.

QOTD: I would really, REALLLLY like to have a breast reduction. I actually got approved in July of 2008 and then got a new job like 3 days later. I really tried to make it work and get it done b/4 my insurance ended, but it was too close to the start of the school year. My mom (and then my H) always wanted me to wait until after I had kids, but ummm, not sure about that one any more.

Hi!

I'm doing good. Waiting for AF to show up within the next few days. My temp dropped this morning so we'll see. Who knew I'd ever be so excited to see AF? This will be my first "real" (following ovulation) post-m/c AF. Next beta in 2 weeks, hopefully it will be 0 then (that will be almost 3 months post MTX!)

Now I'm just annoyed because it looks like I will O next right before the 3 month TTA period is up. So I'm guessing I'll have to wait a whole 'nother cycle. :-(

QOTD: I want a breast reduction. I am a normal-sized person with ginormous boobs (30GG, yes that is a real size). But it's not in the cards right now. Maybe later. I don't know if I'd actually pull the trigger and do it though. We'll see what my body is like post-(hopefully)kids

Update:  Yes, ma'am I have an appointment this morning.  I'll be heading out here soon.  They're going to check my estradiol levels (via b/w) and my follie growth.  Sunday I had three good ones growing so I'm hoping at least 2 are holding on strong!

QOTD:  Same as you csuperstar02, I would get a breast reduction.  Maybe.  They're not so big they hurt my back, but I know my posture is being affected by them.  Even when I lost a bunch of weight in college and was a size 2, I still had D's, so I know weight loss won't change them but a couple of sizes.

Update: I'm going to try to keep this short, bc if you are lurking on other threads I'm sure I sound like a broken record by now.  Sorry. I've been stressing about something new this week.

My RPL panel came back positive for a marker of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome.  However, the diagnosis only sticks if the test is still positive when we re-test in 12 weeks (mid-August). We need to TTA in the mean time.  

I have negotiated with my ob/gyn and she is letting me re-test in 6 weeks, so that if the result has disappeared by then, we can go back to TTC as previously scheduled.  But if the 6 week test is still positive, we'll just have to wait it out before we can make a plan.  Hope you ladies don't get to sick of me.  Looks like I might be here for a while. 

QOTD: No surgery for me.

First off, khays878 welcome to this group! sorry you have found yourself checking in with us but you are in good hands here! T&P for you during this time.

  

Update: I posted earlier this week that I was going to test on Friday, tomorrow, bc the IL's are coming for a visit which usually means lots of drinking involved. I had a bad dream that woke me up at 3:30 am. For some reason I felt the need to test this morning. BFP! This would put me at 3 weeks exactly! Still extremely early but going to go to the doctor tomorrow to have blood work, per my doctors order after m/c. I didn't tell DH bc I promised I wouldn't test until tomorrow morning so I will just test again tomorrow! This will give me a day to calm down and not be so stressed about bloodwork and getting back results! 

 Due to the nature of this thread, please no congrats! Just T&P's for everyone of the ladies still in waiting!! 

According to the DD calculators my EDD is Feb 4, 2013 which happens to be my 26th birthday!!

QOTD: I plan on having a lift after my childbearing years are over, granted I have a sticky baby and my boobs actually grow. Otherwise I would like to get a boob job. Just to get me to the B cup range! I am the president of the itty bitty titty committee!!  My husband has already started a savings account listed as "Brit's Tits"

Hey ladies!

Since my bleeding stopped this week, my official status is waiting for an HCG = 0. I get blood work done tomorrow, fingers crossed!!!

Also, I had to call my doctor's office this morning and leave a message because I'm worried I might have an infection, hopefully not, as that would be a big setback . . . . .

Question of the day:  Yup, have had my eyelids done and also some lipo on my outer thighs (they were abnormally protruding and it looked funny). Super glad I got both done! I also plan to have my boobs done once I'm done having/breastfeeding babies. Not so much adding or taking away volume, just getting my 'perk' back which, at 38, is already starting to fade a bit and after babies I'm sure will be worse. I'll probably have a tummy tuck at that point also. We'll see!

Not yet. I am planning on calling this afternoon, since I am leaving work early because DS is sick. Being a teacher, it is difficult to make those phone calls during the day and this week has been especially busy.

In other news, my temp spiked this morning! I am pretty confident I have O'd, so just 11ish short days left until we will be officially TTC again!!!

QOTD: I am another who would go with a breast reduction. I have danced since I was 3 and being large chested and a dancer is difficult. DH has said I could have some done when we are done with kids, but I don't know if I would go through with it.

AFM, I STILL have not gotten a call back from my doc, but I did get my appointment moved from June 21 to tomorrow.  Hoping to get the rest of my results (i.e. the b/w and HSG) and then ask for a plan for moving forward.  I'll prob test tomorrow (13 DPO) before the appt, but I'm not expecting anything...

QOTD:  In high school, I always wanted a boob job (and, in fact, had a few friends who got one).  I was super flat chested, but in college I filled out a bit.  As of now, I don't think I'd ever get one.  I'm super short and petite, so I'm not sure I could support a large rack

GTKY:  I probably would not because for the exception of about 20 lbs I'd like to lose I'm generally happy with my image.  I think the only way I would do it is if there was a medical need for it.

I can't WAIT for big boobs as a pregnancy perk, and I'm definitely in favor of a boob job after BFing, whenver that may be... *still wanted to say Britny, H&H 9

Just got home from the doctor.  Today was my cd12 monitoring.  She did the u/s first and saw 2 eggs. One a 20 and the other she just said was smaller.  b/w was terrible. There is a new girl there I've never met.  She was very nice but just couldn't get my vein..ugh   After both arms and 3 tries later she got it.  I thought I was going to lose it.  I have such a hard time with my anxiety.  But yay..I didn't pass out!!  We discussed next cycle using clomid with a trigger if this IUI fails.

Right now I am waiting for a phone call to tell me when to come in for IUI..whether it be 2morrow or Sat.  She also gave me progesterone to start using the day after IUI. 

Praying and Hoping and FX that this IUI works and I can have a wonderful Father's Day gift for Mikey!!

Update: We are still TTA because of methotrexate in March. We should be able to start trying again in mid-June if the doctor will give us the go-ahead. I had an HSG a few weeks ago. Tubes are fine, but my uterus appears to be broken. Fibroids or polyps or something. I have an operative hysteroscopy scheduled for tomorrow. I am nervous. Not for the surgery, but because I am afraid it will be a deep fibroid and that they will ask us to wait longer. We are on a very short time line because we are only going to keep trying until this fall, and then we are done. if I have to wait--it might mean not trying ever again.

QOTD: After baby-making time is over. Tummy tuck. most definitely. I have a miracle son who is responsible for my messed up tummy area, so I'm not complaining, but I wouldn't mind fixing that.

A - we'd never get sick of you. 2 - I don't keep up with other threads as much as I should so I didn't know about your results. I am hoping that your retest in 6 weeks shows results that allow you back on your TTC schedule!

Update: I think I'm just waiting on AF.  My temp isn't very high above the coverline, and it doesn't seem to be going up any time soon.  So yeah.  Spotting should begin sometime today and the witch should show her face tomorrow.  This is putting me in a bit of a mood.

QOTD: Actually, I would.  I had great boobs until I breastfed for 21 months.  Now they are all squishy and floppy and look like really sad water balloons (wouldn't trade the BFing for anything, but the collateral damage to my boobs is less than ideal).  I wouldn't increase the size, just lift them back up to where they used to be.  I miss my small pert perky boobs.

Update:  I'm still waiting for my bleeding to stop but it seems to be getting lighter.  I'm having some lower abdominal pain today (also last night) so I'm currently waiting for the doctor's office to call me back and tell me if it's anything that I should be concerned about.  Oh ---- and I finally got an appointment with MFM for 6/21.  Yay!

QOTD:  I broke my nose playing volleyball and the cartilage actually split, so I had a reconstruction done when I was in college.  My nose still looks like crap, though, and I doubt anyone would ever guess that I'd had it done.  Not sure about other surgery.  Lipo would be nice, haha.    

Sorry to hear about the abdominal pain. Hope you get some relief/answers soon.

Glad that your bleeding stopped, but sorry to hear (read) about your infection and RE recommended abstaining.

I don't really have much to update on.  I'm basically waiting to O at this point to see if this is our month.  I really want it to be, but I'm terrified to have another loss.

I am going to call my Family Doctor, who I've been seeing for 20 years, this week and schedule a follow up appointment and hopefully get him to refer me to another OB.  The one that he recommended for my second pregnancy, I did not like.  I haven't heard from then at all since the week of my second loss.

 QOTD:  I'm not sure what I would change.  Does Lasik surgery count as plastic surgery?  I would love to not have to wear glasses or contacts anymore.  I actually started the process this winter to get it done, but then I found out I was pregnant.  So we postponed it, but when we had the first loss we rescheduled it.  They surgeon wouldn't do the surgery because my prescription wasn't stable enough.  I guess HCG really affects your eyes.  I was supposed to go back in March for a follow-up and reschedule, but I was pregnant again and than had another loss.  Now we are just putting it off for awhile.

It's totally normal to be afraid of another loss. Hope O is around the corner.

I completely understand the whole teacher/handling business thing! If I don't put it on my phone as a reminder with an alarm, it probably won't happen. Yay for being close to TTC again!

I'm on CD75 I think...? Lost count, and still waiting for the doctor to call me back.  (Yay for me for calling, though!)   All of our testing is finally done this week (my kiddos did great!) so next week I intend on getting something done regarding my craaazy cycles. Now that my students are taken care of I can take care of myself

 While I'd love to get plastic surgery to take out every last bit of fat from me, I'd also be way too scared to go under the knife.  Just watching episodes of Extreme Makeover had me cringing.
