any mommies in charlotte, around the university area? just curious. I post on the the national boards, but I will probably be looking for some mommy groups to join while I am out on leave...

    i know there are several groups on Meetup.com. I found one for my local area there.

    Hi! I don't live in the university area, but I an out that way all the time. I see that you attended WSSU.  I went to JCSU.  I can tell you a bit about my mommy group. Send me a note.

    I live in Concord. 35 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. Is there a group for this University/Concord area?

    I started a group on meetup.com called Charlotte Area Moms On The Move . . . Its for working and stay at home moms, and I am trying to get it off the ground really.  I live in Harrisburg, so a lot of the activities are in N. Clt, Concord, and Kannapolis.  If you are interested in joing us, let me know.

    I would be interested in joining. I live in Mt.Pleasant and am having a heck of a time finding some ladies to hang out with.  It's just me, my 4yo and 1yo...not very exciting, lol. I need friends!

    I don't live in Charlotte but DH's family is all in South Charlotte- Fort Mill/Ballantyne/Indian Land area and we LOVE going to visit them!! We are in Wilmington though.

    I would try www.charlottemommies.com its part of The Mommies Network (TMN). I am a member of wilmingtonmommies and its an awesome local group!:)
