I see a lot of people mentioning induction and I'm wondering what you mean by induction. I'm assuming pit but I could be wrong. Do inductions usually start with prostaglandins first or just pit, or does it depend on your ob/midwife?

Re: Induction plan
I have a ripe cervix at 4cm, so it'll just be pitocin for me. I'm still requesting not to have my membranes ruptured, though. I'd rather that happen spontaneously.
My case is identical. With my first I checked into the hospital with contractions 3 minutes apart I was at 4, do my doctor is confident that an induction at this point won't take too long.
Yeah, she's pretty confident it'll go fast. With DD, my active labor was estimated at 4 hours long.
