Mike and I agree that should I have triplets, while I am getting my c-section, he would be getting snip-snipped just down the hall. We are all about efficiency in this house.
It's not the idea of raising three of the same age at the same time. We'd get it done! It's the idea of carrying three. I don't think I would do it by choice (ha, if we had choices like that), but if it happened I would do everything I could to be healthy and safe!
I voted that the idea of being pregnant with 3 scared me. I didn't do well being pregnant with DS1. I was on bed rest for preterm labor and PIH for 10 weeks before delivering at 38 weeks...and this was after 3 weeks of "altered" work schedules of 8hour and then 4 hour days~ I LOVED being pregnant, but my body did NOT! I think it would do horrible with 3
I picked singleton, mostly because triplets are such high risk and I know I will be a basketcase of worry with just one when the time comes as it is! Though, a small part of me does sort of hope for twins. The higher risk part scares me to death, but I would like to have two and am scared of not being able to get pregnant again, so if I could get two for the price of one, I'd take it!
I'll need a cerclage just to be able to carry one child to full term. Having triplets, although a lovely thought, would mostly likely end in another miscarriage. Only one for me, Thanks.
Single please! We already have two kiddos. While engaged I joked with DH that the only way he'd get 4 kiddos is if he talked me into a 3rd and it was twins (which run in my family). Still hoping that won't be the case.
We'd love them and live to tell about it but I may end up in the looney bin.

One. We are going to great lengths even with fertility treatments to avoid having multiples.
The risks of preterm birth with triplets plus the affect on your body is not something to joke around with - I think avg gestation with trips is 32 weeks and average weight per baby is 3 lbs, so generally a MINIMUM of 6 weeks NICU time...not even considering risks of pre-e and PIH, etc, as well as all the breathing, heart, and eyesight issues that are super common with preemies.
No, thank you.
Six years of infertility and loss, four IUIs, one IVF and one very awesome little boy born via med-free birth 10.24.13.
I'll take whatever I can get in whatever fashion I can get it. But in a perfect world and with no complications I'd still want at least 3 (more like 5) but I'd want them one at a time with about 2-3 years spaced between them! But considering we want at least 3 and its been 2 years and 8 months since we first started trying for ONE, we'll probably start trying for number 2 as soon as I'm medically cleared after giving birth to the first!
Just one for me thanks! My dad was a twin though so it does run in my family. If I had multiples, I would want twins - 1 boy, 1 girl. I don't think my body could take triplets!!! At this point I will be happy with whatever!
