I am 12 days post c-section and have been feeling really good the whole time. Last night I went for my first walk outside the house and just walked around the block. I don't want to push it, but want to keep moving. What did you do and how much are we to do after a c-section?

I was only allowed to do walking for 8 weeks. I tried to do a lot of walking.......nothing crazy though.

I had 2 c-sections and with both I felt great, left the hospital after 2 nights with the first and after only 1 night with the second. I was in no real pain a little discomfort but that was to be expected, I was really careful to not overdo it so I wouldn't somehow injure myself. I did tons of walking but held off on exercise until 6 weeks when I got the clear from my doctor.
Walk as much as you feel comfortable with, don't overdo it the last thing you want to do is hurt yourself.
I started running after 6 weeks and was in good enough shape to do a half marathon after 4 months - go with what your body is telling you.
