CPW - Does Charting Stress You Out?

Re: CPW - Does Charting Stress You Out?

  • No, charting does not stress me out.  I tried not charting for the cycle I had my Lap, and the non-charting stressed me out.

Yes. I get stressed when obsessing over my chart. Then my temps get thrown off by the stress.  Hence, my temping break this cycle.

  • I haven't taken my temp in probably a year now. That was the only thing that stressed me out honestly. I found I'd always have to wake up and pee an hour before it was temp time or I'd wake up and couldn't go back to sleep. It was just always something that screwed me up and caused me more stress.

I've been lucky in that ovulation cramps have always been very indicative of when I ovulate so temping really wasn't necessary for me after I learned some of my other signs. BUT I'm still really glad I did temp for a few months because it confirmed that my O pain happened on the day of O as well as clued me in on some other things that happen leading up to O.

  • Def. less stressed out temping. My cycles aren't that predictable at least at this point and it is really helping me identify what could be going on. And saving a lot of $$$ by not POASing too early/at the wrong time.

  • I voted for the "easygoing person" option. I did give up charting for the last couple of months. I'm having so much dang monitoring on the Clomid, there's no reason for me to bother.

  • I said kinda because temping does not stress me out, but OPKs do and sometimes CM. This month I am having trouble charting - I am not sure FF will give me CH based on inconsistent signs.
