I've been enjoying some serious nature, sun and offline time in California. Vacation does wonders for your soul! We head back out for more camping today, and will finish the trip going for a sail on my brother's boat!

I'm glad to hear you are having a fabulous trip! So glad you are enjoying it. It really is good for the soul.

I'm officially back on the TTC train this month but still making a final decision based on how my Dr. appointments go tomorrow. Having a u/s to look at my lining, seeing the OB and then starting acupuncture in the afternoon. Excited and nervous for all that. Never did get progesterone drawn last month b/c stupid AF showed up after like 8 dpo...maybe 9 if I had a late O the day before as I was questioning. Still not good. Oh and that was Mother's Day and my last day of vacation. Also not putting a ton of stock in the fact that my temps look less rocking this month so far b/c I had to change the battery on my bbt yesterday...gave me the same temp two days in a row so I tested it some more and it was def. time for a change. Now today it wasn't much different, but I also overslept  so maybe it would have been lower. 

Memorial Day weekend is shaping up to be a bit of a clusterf*ck right now. DH is now studying for the bar and we've been invited to some family/friend gatherings which sound fun but they get to be a lot for me to manage going to that, working on the house, taking care of DD and being there for DH. And some of the family invitations overlap so we have to play the pick and choose game. I'm kind of stressing about it.

ETA - just passed 1w since d&c, currently in TTA stage for at least 1 full normal cycle...

my plan - i'm going to create a bucket list of things to do before having kids (and before getting pregnant, like jetskiing, more rollercoasters, etc) and start checking them off to pass the time!

I'm doing progressively better as time goes on.  The start of this cycle was tough, but DH and I have talked about it a lot and his support makes all the difference.  He is such an optimist when it comes to getting our sticky baby.  That really helps to chase away the gloomy rain cloud that hangs over my head all day.  I only wish I could go back to the naive part of TTC, where the thought of getting a BFP was filled with joy and excitement.  Instead the thought brings mixed emotions of happiness and fear.

ooo...now I want camping, wilderness and s'mores!! That was our original plan for Memorial Day weekend, but it looks like it may be crappy out now.

The past 7 days have been days of arrivals....medical bills and AF. We are wrestling with whether we should TTC or TTA one more cycle...

WWYD?? - it'd be an easy decision except we leave for Europe June 23 - July 12. I know cycle 1 is a long shot - but if it did happen, according to FF I'd be about 21 days after O (I'm a planner so this is all contingent on me actually O'ing on CD18 when I have in the past...and I know post m/c cycles are weird)  when we left. My doctor said we would do betas and levels, progesterone as a security blanket and an U/S as early as possible, but would that be enough to make you feel confidant before a trip like this?? I have a week to figure this one out....

Hi ladies. Hope you're all having a good Wednesday! Nothing too exciting here, just waiting for AF after my cp. Our first RE appointment is June 4, so that will at least happen before my.next cycle.

QOTW: No big plans for the weekend. Just hanging out with some friends on Sunday and Monday.

Hi Ann here....  I am 41 years old and lost my first pregnancy not long ago. I am here because while I know it is a long shot, I still dream about holding my baby in my arms and knowing this is all I have ever wanted. My heart is still broken at the loss, but as the days go by it is getting better and better. I know I am ready to try again...

**General Updates:  Our first cycle TTC after out loss was a bust. Aunt Flo decided to show up yesterday. But I'm ok with it actually! Let the fun continue! My OB did check my progesterone at 8 dpo and it was 11.7, which he considered excellent (I am not on any fertility medication) so I don't have to go back to him until the next time I get my BFP! Finally, some form of good news from a blood test! I had my TSH level checked yesterday, so I'm hoping I'm  closer to that 0.5 to 2.5 range that I need to be!

 

**Question of the week: Memorial Day is just around the corner, have any big or small plans for the long weekend? Not any big plans, just a bunch of small ones. Cincinnati Reds game with my DH and in laws, shopping, golfing, swimming, and working on my tan. Oh and since I got AF this week, throw lots of beer in there as well! LOL!

My temp went back down, so I haven't O'ed yet, so that's a bummer (but not a problem). Therapy is great. We're spending memorial day with DH's work family (they rent several condos and all the families come to feast/do team bonding games). It'll be fun! It's an annual event. sorry this is so short, I'm typing one handed laying on my side
