Feeling defeated

I'm having one of those "I'm never going to have this baby" pity party days.  :-(

Baby has gotten even larger and my OB does not want to induce yet.  I'm definitely headed down the cs route if they wait much longer.  No dilation... Nothing.

I have been having pretty good cramping, but considering it is bearable I'm assuming it isn't doing anything to move things along.

Ugh.  And it doesn't help that DH and I have been arguing about his mother for the last couple of days.  I just feel like no one has got my back:-(

Okay then,.... Ceasing of the "it's my party and I'll cry if I want to" pity party.

Awww (((hugs))) I feel that way, too, and I'm not even overdue yet (Saturday is my due date! I also have no dilation or anything. "Not too much going down there," is how my OB put it yesterday LOL. If it makes you feel any better, people keep sharing stories with me about how they have no dilation or anything happening and then bam! They went into labor. So it can happen (though it's hard to believe!)... hang in there!!

I have "progress" down there, but I stopped having contractions, even BH, last weekend. I went from several an hour to 5 or so a day. My OB an the nurse pointe out he's just as happy as can be in there. I'm sitting in the waiting room for my 40w appt hoping that she'll schedule an eviction date today. She doesn't want me to hit 41w, and it's a long weekend, soooooo hoping for Friday.

I still have a few days before my due date, but I'm with you. I had DD at 35 weeks, so I wanted to be prepared in case this baby was early. Yeah, the irony of facing a possible induction is not lost on me.

Not only that but I have been 2cm for the last two weeks. Got a check yesterday and the doctor goes 'hmm they told you 2 last week? well I guess I can say 2, but I think they were pretty generous or you are having anti-contractions'. Fantastic, I'm now going backwards.

One of the doctors said 10 days over my due date. The idea of another possible 2 weeks is exhausting.

Thanks for the kind replies.  Hopefully this defeated feeling will turn into the actual physical deflated by this weekend.  ;-)

I actually would be okay with just loosing my mucus plug ;-)

At least that would be something...

Lets hope we all have some babies soon!!!

Can I come to your party? I started this pity party as soon as I went past the 38w6d that I delivered my first baby at. So much for the second baby coming sooner. I really don't look forward to finding out what its like to feel over due. 

I don't know if this is your first baby or not but with my first I had zero signs of labor till I woke up one morning to my brand new water bed.  

Hang in there my BFF got induced twice with zero progress and didn't end up with a c section.
