Ferber-help! :)

hmsnbl103Joined on 05-28-2009Hebron, Ohio81 Posts1,554 PointsFerber-help please .My husband and I desperately need sleep at night and want to try the Ferber method this weekend.  Our little girl is up every night grunting and needing re-binked over and over every 15 min to half hour from about 12:30 or 1a.  We have tried feeding her three nights and she doesn't eat, so we know she isnt waking up due to hunger.  We haven't read the Ferber book, but I've researched it online and from what I can tell, Ferber may suggest not using the binky at night.  I don't think we are prepared to go that far yet, so we are planning to re-bink her during the 2 minutes of consoling her.  We still swaddle her though, and I've started to feel bad that we are going to start this Ferber thing and she won't be able to get her binky on her own.  I would love to unswaddle her, but she can roll over back to front but not front to back if she is unswaddled and she has slept worse when we have tried even just one arm out.  Do you all have any advice?  Thanks so much!
