I know it's been awhile but...

I finally had my appointment with the endocrinologist today! I officially have hypothyroidism. Thankfully she believes it will be fairly easy to regulate and started me on meds today. She obviously can't guarantee that my hypothyroidism caused the miscarriages but she said she feels fairly confident that it was the cause. She asked that we TTA until my levels are with in the normal range and then we can get to it! :) She ended the appointment by saying that she feels very positive that our next pregnancy with controlled levels will be a successful one. I am feeling much better after today's appointment. 

 I know I am awful about posting enough and giving enough support due to my work but I just want you to know I am always lurking and sending positive thoughts, prayers, and support your way. Thank you ladies.

    I am so glad you got a dx.  I hope your levels get regulated soon and your next pregnancy comes quickly and is successful.  FX for you.

    I'm not happy you have hypothyroidism, but I'm glad there's a plan in place! You're one huge step closer to your take-home baby!
    It was a rough road, but Arlo Daniel was born April 1, 2013—and our second rainbow is due October 12, 2014.

    awh thats great news! well not great you have hypothyroidism but it's certainly a step closer to a healthy pregnancy! I really hope everything works out for you! ((HUGS))

    Glad you got a dx!!  I know how frustrating it is to know something is wrong, but not have anyone able to tell you what.

    Sorry to hear you have hypothyroidism, but good to know it sounds like it can be regulated fairly easily.

    Well, I hope the doctor is right and this is the issue that's been standing in your way.  It's always a good feeling once you know what wrong and have a plan to deal with.  If you have to have a fertility issue, it's good to know that it can be resolved with taking a pill every day.

    Good thoughts and hoping this diagnosis will bring you a baby soon.

    Do you mind sharing what your symptoms were and what prompted your doctor to test you? This is something I am starting to suspect with myself but I haven't talked to my doc yet.
