Girl sibset

Thoughts on Grace and Reagan as a sibset? Are they OK together? Thanks!

  • Like Grace, dislike Reagan. I am not really a fan of them as a sibset - they just seem too different.

  • They do seem to be very different styles: classic vs. trendy, but they are both fine as names.

I think they sound fine together.  They both have a strong R sound, and I like them both.

  • They are two different style names I think, but it's not a big deal. I wouldn't think of them as 'going together', but they don't sound bad together either imo.

  • I like both names but they are completely different....trendy vs biblical (classical).  I would try to get them more in sync if you want them to "match" if it doesn't matter then they are fine.

  • They are okay but I do consider them very different name styles.

Grace is classic and feminine.  Reagan is trendy and sounds masculine.

  • Really dislike Reagan.

I love them both!  And disagree that Reagan is "trendy". I went to high school with a girl named Reagan who was a couple of a grades ahead of me so she would have been born in the mid-70's and my coworker has an older child named Reagan.  I may be a bit biased since I have a Reagan but I've loved the name since I was 14.

Willflu, have you had anyone comment on the name? Ask where it came from, etc?

Most people comment on how they love the name. I've had a few people ask me if it is after President Reagan, to which I reply I was 10 when he went out of office so no.  I had one person tell me that they loved the name but their DH vetoed it because he thought of the character on the exorcist. But since it was a bad movie from the 70's most people don't think about it Smile

I don't think they go together at all.
