Quick, what removes adhesive from skin?

Ds had his last tube and Montgomery straps taken off today and the Montgomery strap left adhesive behind which now has his shirt stuck to his stomach. How cannot get it off without hurting him and remove the adhesive so something else doesn't stick?

dawn dish soap works well too, rub lightly with a washcloth that you don't care about because it will be covered with adhesive when you are done.

ETA: and yay for having straps and tubes out!

Rubbing alcohol worked on all the adhesive I had stuck to me after my c/s.
