traveling with baby

hi all...wondering if anyone has tips for traveling long distances with your child.  we're flying to ireland in august (baby will be almost 14 mos old by then)...

any tips would be greatly appreciated!!!

don't wean prior to travel.  breastfeeding continues to be your best friend well into the toddler period.  best way to get a kid to stop crying on a plane.
