Asked DH if he wanted to go to a u/s

Since our hospital offers free ultrasounds on Wednesdays, & DH has the day off, last night I asked him if he'd want to go tomorrow. I thought surely he would. His response?

"No. I don't want to just see her. I want her here."

It was sweet. But I should have expected it since the first thing he said to me when he got home was, "You need to hurry up at have the baby." Apparently even his employees were rooting for me to have her yesterday. It was just DH & another guy closing & everyone told the other guy, "You know, if John's wife goes into labor, you'll get to close early." Lol! Guys are funny.

The next two weekends my DH is having to work either on the saturday or sunday for 24 hours on call....he's been hoping that I go into labor thursday or friday either weekend so he wouldn't have to work!

My H is being the same way - he wants the baby here yesterday.  Every day, I hear "today would be a good day."  Lol.  I, on the other hand, am perfectly content with LO staying put until his due date at least, if not a little longer.  I feel so unprepared still.
