Really, REALLY Sorry!

After reading over the board, I realized that this board is mostly for people with IF issues. I thought it was for anyone over 35 who was TTC, IF or not. I don't have/anticipate IF, so I don't think I belong here.

I am very sorry if I offended anyone by being here! I will leave now.

    Absolutely you are welcome here!  I have been around for a while and am just now starting to seek assistance with an RE.  Please don't feel like you do not belong.. if you are 35+ and TTC you are in the right place!

    We're all in different stages of ttc here on the board some have just started and some for a bit longer, but have ttc over 35 in common.The move to an RE after 35 happens a bit quicker than the other boards, so you'll just see that here more often but it doesn't mean everyone is dealing with IF.   If your 35 and older and ttc your certainly welcome!

    I agree with Llama.  It is for anyone TTC over 35.  I don't have IF issues..that I know of anyway!  I had my first with no probelms at all the first month of trying.  This one is just taking a bit longer!

    I'm just over 35 and TTC as well, no IF problems yet.  These ladies are great!  Don't feel as though you have to leave... I'm not!  :)

    Not sure why you would think you offended anyone, but I'm 41 and have been TTC naturally and hoping that it will work out that way.

    This board is for anyone over 35 trying to conceive.  A lot of us are already with RE's because it has been over six months of trying.

    You are very welcome here - although I hope your (and everyone's) stay here is short and sweet.

    Don't worry, you're in the right place.  I'm currently trying without medical assitance...although that may change if we don't have success soon.  
    Me: 38, PCOS/ DH: 37

    DD born 12.21.09, conceived w/ injects and IUI



    TTC#2 since Nov 2011

    BFP 2.6.12 m/c 6w5d | BFP 5.25.12 c/p

    3 medicated IUIs, all BFN

    I'm 38 and TTC the Natural way again  - Doc Said if I don't Conceive in the next 6 months to go back to him -  bfp for everyone !!!
    me: 39 DH 40 Trying to Conceive #1 Since Nov. 2010, BFP # 1 1/14/12 EDD 9/20/12 -M/C between 7-8 weeks - :( BFP # 2 10/9/12 EDD 6/16/12 - No Embryo Found 8 weeks 4 day U/S :( Waiting to Miscarry - 9 weeks today Will Try for one more BFP in 2013

    I echo the other ladies; this board is for anyone 35+.  We do seem to have a lot of ladies who are dealing with infertility (in a variety of ways -- no intervention, IUIs, IVF -- and a variety of problems.  The reason it may seem like it is an IF-focused board is because people who aren't dealing with IF tend to move on pretty quickly.

    Dx: DOR and MFI

    DH: low count + very low motility; hormones all normal; Sperm DNA Frag. test = poor to fair; male karyotyping normal
    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)
    DE IVF #1 (shared cycle - June 2012): c/p (6R, 6F w/ICSI, 3dt 1 8-cell grade A- and 1 7-cell grade A-; no frosties)
    DE IVF #2 (shared cycle with new donor - Nov/Dec/ 2012): - BFP!!!!! 12/14/12. U/S on 12/27 shows twins!!!!!

    We are currently trying without assistance too.  We probably won't seek help until the end of the year, so more than 6 months for us.

    Thanks for the reassurance! I will stick around, since no one seems to mind!

    I'm not really sure what to expect. I go off of BCP (Zarah) at the end of this week, I'll have AF next week, then who knows? Ideally, I'd like my BFP after my July cycle, but it's not up to just me!

    I lurk here :)..and I started here...I will say this, the TTC after 35 is a great board.  I tried the Trying to get pregnant board and I really felt like I didn't belong.  I feel it's my age / personality.  These ladies are supportive and caring (not to say the ladies on TTGP are not), but most of the ladies on TTGP are younger with less "life experience" :).

    DX 2010 : Unknown Infertility , AMA
    HSG 2005 = Normal / HSG 2010 = Normal
    SA 2005 = Normal / SA 2010 /2012 = Slightly low count : motility, morphology GREAT!
    Chromosomal analysis, MTHFR, ANA's, Lupus, Protein C, Protein S, APCR = Normal 2011

    M/C : 2005 (7wk), 2010 (6wk), 2011 (7wk)

    8 IUI's 2010-2011 all BFN

    IVF/ICSI antagonist 01/2012 #1 = BFN

    IVF/ICSI antagonist long 06/2012 #2 = BFN

    IVF/ICSI/CGH MDLF New Clinic/New RE 11/2012 #3 = One beautiful boy blasty frozen PGS normal

    IVF/ICSI/CGH MDLF 02/2013 #4 = One more beautiful boy blasty frozen PGS normal

    FET 6/20 : One 5AA PGS normal transferred Beta 1 6/28 = 53.9 / Beta 2 7/1 = 220 / Beta 3 7/3 = 550!

    1 U/S  6w3d - Heartbeat 119 /  2 U/S - 7w5d- Heartbeat 169 / 3 U/S (OB) 8w5d - Heartbeat still great!

    You are certainly welcome here. The only reason it seems like an IF board is that people with IF tend to stick around. It's like that on all the TTC boards not just here.

    If you feel you can't relate to what is posted, why not start some non-IF posts?
