Past due no dilation...

So I'm officially past my due date, I had an appt today an I'm 0 dilated an 50% effaced im so nervous about being induced at 0 centimeters, have any of you been induced without being dilated? They won't induce me until the 30th an itll be with the foley balloon, I'm really hoping he comes on his own but if he doesn't I was wondering if labor was worse especially not being dilated?

I expect to be right there with you. At my last appointment I had no dilation, no effacement, and baby was still high. I am expecting the same this week. I have no idea how they go about induction in this case, but I'm hoping to delay that as long as possible. Good luck!

Good luck to you!! I hope our baby's come on their own but if not I hope for safe an smooth delivery

I was induced at 41 weeks with absolutely 100% no signs of progressing on my own. I had two rounds of mezo (or whatever its called). The first round, given around 7PM, did nothing. The second round, given around 9AM the next day, had me to 4 centimeters within 4 hours. I was given pitocin at that point and my water was broken by the doctor. I wound up having a natural birth (beyond needing to be induced, obviously) and she was born 6 hours after they broke my water.
