I experienced my first mc on May 11th.....of course it was devastating & I am STILL trying to wrap my head totally around it. I am still bleeding, but it seems to be slowing down some. My husband & I were talking about when we can try again, and I was wondering if anyone has similar experiences as far as how fertile you are right after a mc. Or how long should we wait to try again? Should I wait for another cycle, 2 or 3 more cycles??? I've heard you are more fertile after a mc, but I didn't know if there was any medical proof of that. I am still grieving this loss, but at the same time, ready to try again and hopefully have a different end result. Any advice would be helpful..

Re: **Questions about conceiving after 1st MC**
I am very sorry for your loss, but I think everyone here is going to give you the same advice: talk to your doctor about when you're ok to TTC again.
I'm sorry for you loss.
It's very natural to want to TTC again- soon- but go with whatever your doctor says. Good luck to you!
Hey- what about me?
I agree with what everyone else has said. Listen to your doctor. I know it's hard and you may not want to, but they tell you their recommendations for a reason.
Good luck and welcome.
My Dr said to wait at least one cycle which she thinks will be quite some time away anyway. All I can think about is when we can try again but, I have it in my head 3 months to get myself emotionally ready just try to enjoy the summer etc.. but I would def call and talk to your Doctor and take their advice like everyone else said. We lost at about the same time and i honestly feel like it was alot loooonger than that.. ah hum.
I am sorry for your loss.. ((HUGS))

Do you have a follow up appointment soon? I know it is really hard to catch everything, especially at those first appointments when your life just got flipped upside down. If there is anyway you can bring your husband to your next appointment I would recommend that. He can be another set of ears for you to remember things. Or write down what your Dr. says so you can read over it when you get home. If you don't have an appointment, it is perfectly acceptable for you to call your dr to clarify things discussed during your appointment. You pay them a ton of money for this crap so they might as well answer your questions!
That being said, welcome to the board and I am very sorry for your loss.
