Feel stupid and angry at myself (NIFR)

So last week there was a really bad accident 2 miles from my house and the woman got killed instantly (drunk driver) and her son who is 8 is in an induced sleep.

Didn't put anything together but just found out today that the woman was a person who I see few times a week at this little Italian store. I went into the store and started crying with her good friend and they thought I knew. I feel so stupid that I forgot her name....seriously? I've been going in there for yrs. How is that effin possible? I would so have gone to the funeral home. Then I'm upset because my friend,her daughter is in same class as boy,could of mentioned to me that she worked at the store that I shop in for work. Ugh...I've been crying all day. This really hit me hard.

I'm just embarrassed I didn't put two and two together...unbelievable  Just venting..thanks

I just can't get her out of my head. I saw her the day before accident and she just got engaged..ugh. Me pmsing is probably not helping either.

That never helps!  It's hard to lose people unexpectedly like that.  It's hard when you have warning too though.  I'm having a rough day today myself.  A dear friend of mine passed away last month.  Today would've been her 40th birthday.

That's so sad.  What a tragedy.    Don't beat yourself up.  It's easy to miss things - especially when IF is occupying your life.

I am so sorry for you.  I would not know the names of anyone that works in the Italian store that I go to and they even go to the same church as me. Don't be embarrassed.
